Żeby przeciwnik musiał mieć wielkie szczęście w rzutach, albo żebyśmy my musieli mieć wielkiego pecha. To niełatwe i wymaga sporo kombinowania. Dodatkowo tutaj trzeba trzymać pewien dystans do przeciwnika żeby nie mógł on jednym wypadem wtargnąć w nasze dojo i zabić nam wojownika, z kolei przewaga pozycyjna jest bardzo ważna. Jeżeli nasze piony są blisko granicy naszego dojo, a piony przeciwnika są odrzucone nieco dalej – mamy przewagę, nasze wypady będą przynosiły więcej punktów. Kolejny aspekt to blokowanie – czasem zamiast zabijać przeciwnika wystarczy go przyblokować uniemożliwiając mu powrót do siebie.
