TTA – to juz 3-cia edycja. Spokojnie mozna bylo kupic.
Krakow podobno bardzo slaby jest. Konrad, ktory gral, zrobil mi szczegolowy wyklad dlaczego. Kupuje jego tlumaczenia.
A tak w ogole to ja skladam troche votum separatum w przypadku kilku gier (akurat Pancho i don_simon mieli naprawde dosc zbiezny gust). Ale do dyskusji bedzie jeszcze niejedna okazja :-)

Mam być może nietypowe pytanie, ale niech tam. Nie byłem nigdy w Essen, ale nabieram wielkiej ochoty wybrać się za rok. Nie wiem jednak, jak wygląda baza noclegowa w okolicy targów (i w ich okresie). Chodzi mi o konkretne porady i sugestie – gdzie szukać hoteli, jakie polecacie, jak wcześnie je bukować, ew. orientacyjne koszty pobytu. A także, ile kosztuje (jeśli) samo wejście na Targi, jak na miejscu wygląda baza typu jedzenie itp.?
Będę wdzięczny za wszelkie sugestie w temacie. I przepraszam, jeśli nie do końca pasuje do tematu.
Wszystko w sumie zależy od wybranej od ciebie opcji, transportu, hotelu itp. Napiszę jak to było w moim przypadku. Cały wyjazd z punktu widzenia pobytu (nie kosztu gier) pochłonął trochę ponad 1000zł. Lwią część objął lot samolotem (600zł). Nocleg mieliśmy w cenie około 250zł (dwuosobowy pokój), w hotelu oddalonym od Essen 20-30 km, w Gelsenkirchen (dużo planszomaniaków od nas z Polski tam było), 100zł wynajęcie samochodu na czterech, jeszcze śniadania pochłonęły w hotelu z 100zł. Obiado-kolacje (około 20:00) jedliśmy bardzo różnie. Najtaniej nam wyszedł raz bardzo obfity posiłek w czymś a la McDonald, za 4,5 euro.
Ja z dużą pewnością powtórzę ten sam scenariusz, bo mi wszystko w nim przypasowało. Błyskawiczny i bardzo wygodny lot (1,5 godziny), fajny hotel i miejscowość, wygodny dojazd samochodem. Pewnie tylko zbiję cenę na bilecie lotniczym, bo kupię go wcześniej.
Natomiast można śmiało kombinować, pojechać pociągiem, samochodem czy autobusem, to koszt będzie niższy. Są tańsze hotele samoobsługowe, Formule 1 się nazywają. 30 euro za noc. Taniej można też podróżować jeżdżąc pociągiem z hotelu do Essen, a nie wynajmować samochód.
Co do wejściówki na Essen mieliśmy wejściówki prasowe i mogliśmy za friko wejść, a te normalne, za całe 4 dni, kosztowały bodajże 27 euro.
Czy ktoś z warszawiaków przywiózł Cavum?

Pancho – wielkie dzięki za odpowiedź! Dokładnie o takie informacje mi chodziło. Myślę, że zdecyduję się na wizytę na Essen w przyszłym roku, jeśli czas pozwoli.
Na pewno najtanszym srodkiem transportu na miejscu jest wypozyczenie samochodu. Pociagi sa niestety dosyc drogie – sam dojazd z lotniska do Essen to okolo 20 euro, za tyle samo wynajmie sie samochod na 4 osoby. Tylko uwaga — trzeba zarezerwowac samochod wczesniej (przez internet) i miec przy sobie karte kredytowa (NIE Electron, NIE MOTO) – my w tym roku sie na tym malo nie wylozylismy.
