Ej, a o co chodzi z tym śniegiem? Może mnie ktoś oświeci w temacie. Bo z tego co się orientuje to działania wojenne trwały głównie od maja do września. A gór też tam nie ma w pobliżu by śnieg zalegał. Ale może jestem zbyt słabo zorientowany w temacie.

1. Określenie „A Few Acres of Snow” pochodzi z Woltera, który w taki trochę ironiczny sposób wypowiadał się o znaczeniu Kanady w XVIII wieku, gdy Francja walczyła o kontrolę tamtych ziem.
2. Jeżeli ta zapowiedź jest pisana na podstawie info z treefroggames, to AFAIU z tymi kartami chodzi o ciut co innego. W każdym naszym ruchu mamy dwie akcje. Jedną z opcji wykonania akcji jest po prostu dociągnięcie karty imperium i położenie jest na naszym discardzie (podobnie jak w Dominionie, gdy kupujemy kartę). Natomiast zdobycie karty lokacji jest trudniejsze: trzeba zagrać (a) kartę, na której ta lokacja jest wymieniona jako neutralna, (b) kartę z odpowiednim symbolem transportu, (c) jeżeli wymagane, to również kartę z symbolem osadnika. Wtedy zabieramy tę kartę lokacji (kładziemy na discard) i dodatkowo układamy naszą kostkę na tej właśnie pozyskanej lokacji (a więc pewnie będzie jakaś mapa-plansza). Wygląda na to, że nasza talia kart będzie (między innymi) odzwierciedlać teren, który kontrolujemy. Choć te rozważania (np. mój komentarz :p) to trochę takie wróżenie z fusów dopóki nie ma opublikowanej instrukcji.
3. Byłoby super, gdybyście mogli dawać linki do źródeł, z których korzystacie. Byłoby tak bardziej po dziennikarsku. ;)

@Victor Strogow: Co do działania kart lokacji to zrozumieliśmy podobnie tylko, że ja napisałem to w liczbie mnogiej i to może być mylące. A co do planszy to zastanawiałem się, czy to karty nie będą mogły być tymi lokacjami? Ale jest tak jak piszesz brakuje instrukcji :)

Gra trafiła na wishlistę. Akurat Wallace’a tworzącego karciankę sobie nie wyobrażałem. Wojna siedmioletnia? Dla mnie miód:D

Poza tym widać, że „Dominionowy” chwyt reklamowy jest lepszy od jakiegokolwiek hajpu :P
Z jednej strony cieszę się, że Wallace znowu robi coś niebanalnego, z drugiej strony nie wiem, czy temat wojny o Kanadę nie jest li tylko tematem do nowego euro a nie, jak to było w przypadku Waterloo i Gettysburga, dla gry stricte wojennej.
