A są też chwile, gdy koło kwadransa chcemy pograć coś z poziomu kamień-papier-nożyce na sterydach. I wtedy 7 Złotych Miast czeka na nas w pełnej gotowości.
Następnie gracze po kryjomu wybierają iloma poszukiwaczami zalicytują. W kolejności wyznaczonej przez to ile pionków ,,poświęciliśmy” zbieramy karty skarbów. Ci którzy nie zalicytowali zgarniają poszukiwaczy wysłanych po skarby w poprzednich rundach. Remisy rozstrzyga bliskość pochodni pierwszego gracza. Gracz, który wybierał kartę ostatni zgarnia żagiew.
Gdy czekałem na 7 Złotych Miast spodziewałem się, że będzie to krótka, luźna gry o prostych zasadach. Dostałem to wszystko i jeszcze trochę. Gra trwa 20 minut. Kombinowanie: licytować, czy czekać i zgarnąć pulę z poprzednich rund jest dostatecznie angażujące, by nawet fani większego skomplikowania dobrze się bawili. Dobrze jest mieć dużo poszukiwaczy, ale jeśli będziemy licytować zbyt ostrożnie, nazbieramy zapewne sporo czaszek, lub wartość naszych najliczniejszych symboli zostanie zaniżona. Urzekła mnie również odmienność punktowania poszczególnych kategorii.
